Plasma Modelling

 Global model

The state-to-state global plasma model provides detailed insight into the plasma chemistry, including electron Boltzmann, species balance, and thermal equations. Reliable electron-collision cross sections, comprehensive and accurate heavy particle reactions and corresponding rate coefficients, and transport coefficients are all self-consistently coupled into the global model to analyse species production and loss channels and energy transfer pathways.

Plasma Fluid Model

The plasma fluid dynamics model, by combining electromagnetic and fluid dynamics theories, can provide information on the distribution of electromagnetic fields, fluid behavior, particle transport characteristics, reaction dynamics, and interactions with the environment in plasma, while revealing complex flow phenomena.
